Visit the Yale Gallery
Reserve your free ticket for a specific day, and visit anytime during open hours on that day.
Advance reservations are required. Capacity is limited. In compliance with Yale University’s guidelines, visitors must register to enable contact tracing, should that be necessary. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on ticket availability (on-site registration through Eventbrite required). We are not accepting group reservations at this time.
During your visit, you will have access to the permanent-collection galleries, and the special exhibition On the Basis of Art: 150 Years of Women at Yale.
We are committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our visitors and staff and adhere closely to recommendations issued by the state of Connecticut, the city of New Haven, and Yale University.
Visitor Guidelines
- Masks are required for all visitors, except children under the age of two.
- Physical distance of six feet must be maintained.
- Hand-sanitizing stations are located throughout the museum.
- Large bags, backpacks, shopping bags, food, and drinks are not permitted in the galleries. Lockers are available.
